The Wildcat Winds are the premier ensemble at Duluth Middle School. This group performs throughout the community and serves as a representation of the DMS Band program. Members of the Wildcat Winds are expected to maintain excellent academic and behavioral records in order to act as musical ambassadors for DMS.

6th grade band students from both Duluth and Coleman middle schools will participate in JumpStart Camp to learn fundamentals on their starter instruments from professional musicians. This includes putting the instrument together, making the first sounds, first notes, and instrument maintenance.

All 8th graders will get to be a part of the Duluth High School Wildcat Marching Band for a night! We will be working on the music that the band plays during football games throughout the beginning of the year to prepare.
